The Farmyard Frolics is a 10km off road running adventure through woodland, farm tracks and across grassland held on the grounds of Brooksby Melton College’s Spinney Campus.

Date: 25/03/2012

Venue: Spinney Campus, Brooksby Melton College, Leicestershire, LE14 2LJ

Time: 11.00am

Throughout the course there are various challenges and obstacles to overcome including straw bale towers, horse jumps, tractor tyre piles and of course plenty of mud and lots of water!

The event attracts novice runners (running on behalf of a charity or to simply improve their fitness) through to experienced runners looking for their next challenge. The event is also suitable for teams of runner’s (work colleagues or groups of friends) many of whom have run the event previously in fancy dress.

Rainbows

Rainbows is the East Midlands only Hospice for Children and Young People.

Just like everyone else, Rainbows children need a place to play, laugh and love life. A place where they and their families are cared for and supported.

Now more than ever, they need your help to keep on bringing care and happiness to their children and families. Their incredible team of people helps relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavement and care for children until the end.

The truth is that they can’t do their work without the help of people like you – and we know that together we can help them bring more love, smiles and laughter to the children and families.

CP Sport

Cerebral Palsy (C P) Sport is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities through participation in sport. We offer sporting opportunities to anyone with cerebral palsy, regardless of their age or ability level – all are welcome to participate.

C P Sport’s key aim is to give each individual that we work with a meaningful sporting experience that helps them to achieve their personal goals – whether that’s just to have fun, to keep fit or to achieve an elite performance in their field. Many of C P Sport’s members have gone on to represent their country at international level and we are incredibly proud of the fact that members of C P Sport have won more Paralympic medals than any other disability organisation.

If you are taking part in the Farmyard Frolics on 20th March, we would love you to raise some money for C P Sport along the way. As well as having great fun on the day, you will also be making a huge difference to people's lives. Sporting activities have a significant impact on people with cerebral palsy; helping to improve mobility and movement and also increasing confidence and self-esteem.

Help us to support more people with disabilities to improve their lives through sport; whether they are future Paralympians or learning new skills and making friends. Please click here to download sponsor form.
